Join us for our DuPage County Adult Accomplice Series!

ICAH’s Adult Accomplice Trainings are developed for youth workers, family members, and other healthcare, school, and family-serving professionals who are interested in increasing their sexuality education knowledge, improving their communication skills, and better supporting young people and their sexual health, rights, and identities. While learning medically accurate, age-appropriate, LGBTQQIA+-inclusive information, adults will gain tools to actively reduce the shame and stigma that young people face. The series is structured around the National Sexuality Education Standards (NSES) and ICAH’s innovative and youth-driven approach.

The DuPage Adult Accomplice trainings can be completed individually or as a certificate program comprised of 8-sessions across four days. Participants who complete all 4 days of Adult Accomplice training will receive an ICAH Adult Accomplice Training Certificate. CPDUs and CEUs are also available for an additional charge. A copy of ICAH's curriculum is not included in this training series.

The training series will take place at the DuPage County Health Department, 111 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton, IL, 60187.

This should definitely be mandatory for anyone working with young people.
— Adult Accomplice Trainee

Join us in actively practicing adult accompliceship. An accompliceship model asks that the privileged group actively share their power and take on more risk than oppressed groups; it moves us from merely saying we are not transphobic, homophobic, racist, etc. to actively joining and participating in the movement.

Interested in training your whole staff? We can also provide professional development on-site at your organization. Inquire about our professional development offerings or request a customized training by emailing micah@icah.org.
