As children of immigrants, immigrants ourselves, or socially conscious and interested individuals we cross borders daily with our tongues, our laughter and our stories. This months creative writing workshop explores issues of immigration and environmental racism, media representation and accusation; Latin@ health and representation in the medical industry.

Action Out Loud is a weeklong advocacy training camp in Chicago designed for youth ages 14-20. Participants receive in-depth trainings in sexual and reproductive health, young parent, and social justice issues. In addition, they participate in skill-building workshops on organizing, youth-adult partnerships, power dynamics, media relations, and more.
