Apply Now for Action Out Loud! FREE 5-Day Youth Activist Training Camp

Action Out Loud! is an action-packed, fun and exciting training camp designed for youth ages 14-20 who are interested in making their voice heard and creating social change in their lives and in their communities. As a participant, you will get in-depth training on adolescent sexual health, young parents and reproductive rights issues. You will also develop skills to become active social change agents, through engaging workshops on organizing, message development, public speaking, power dynamics, media relations, strategy mapping and much more. With the help of experienced adults and youth leaders, you will use everything you learn throughout the week to develop and utilize your own plans for action.
After Action Out Loud!, you will put into practice the knowledge and skills you have learned by participating in various, exciting and engaging project and job opportunities at the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health. You will have the opportunity to do work you love on issues you feel passionate about.

Q: What will I get out of Action Out Loud! ?
A: You will receive increased knowledge and skills on how to create change in your life and in your community around sexual health, teen parent and reproductive rights issues. You will also gain new friends, support, inspiration and new ideas and strategies that you can put into action in other areas of
your life.

A: Youth ages 14-20 interested in social change and willing to make a commitment to providing their time to making social change.

A: Centrally located In the downtown area close to the “L” and bus routes

A: YES, Action Out Loud! is FREE for all participants. Breakfast, lunch and materials will be provided.

A: You will have numerous opportunities to stay connected with the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health. You get to put into practice the knowledge and skills you have learned by getting involved in various engaging project and job opportunities at ICAH. You will have a chance to lead your own projects, run your own research, train other youth and adults, work with other youth and adult activists and much much more.
