ICAH maintains a lending library where professionals can borrow numerous evidence-based sexual health education curricula, workbooks, and multimedia covering all grade levels for review. Additionally, we have several curricula that have promising approaches available for loan. We ask you to send a small fee to retain the curriculum on loan on a temporary basis. This fee will be refunded upon receipt of all materials borrowed from ICAH’s Training Department.

The content of our training is in accordance with our mission, vision, and reproductive justice and youth development philosophies.

ICAH’s Training Department offers a variety of professional development opportunities related to our policy issue areas: Sexual Health Care Access, Sexual Health Education and Support for Young Parents. The content of our training is in accordance with our mission, vision, and youth development philosophy. ICAH brings national trends and current research and offers continued technical assistance. ICAH can also create a tailored training package to meet your needs. Our trainings can be conducted in any Illinois location for a service fee.

Sisters Empowering Sisters, the young women’s reproductive justice and peer education group of ICAH, provides health education not only to their peers, but also to professionals and caregivers. SES creates original, youth-led workshops that are medically accurate. SES is comprised of ten peer educators who received rigorous sexual health training and leadership development. All services are fee-based.

Hire our Youth Leaders to facilitate a training in your school or program!
ICAH Peer Educators facilitate medically accurate, age-appropriate, and youth-led sexual health trainings in schools, after-school programs, and conferences. They have been certified in the National Bacchus Peer Education Curriculum and receive rigorous sexual health training through ICAH. The Peer Educators are supported in the workshop by an adult staff member of ICAH, who also provides additional written resource materials for youth participants.
